Maintenance Fitter - Manufacturing

Job Connect are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for our manufacturing client in the Carole Park area. 

The position is ongoing casual ideally moving to permanent after roughly 3 months.

They are offering dayshift or afternoon shift but look for flexibility to do both should cover for a person on leave be required.

Paying $40 casual and $70,000 plus overtime and shift allowance. Wages can be negotiable for the right person

The following are not essential but desirable:

• Run preventative and predictive maintenance on mixing and packaging machines
• Working knowledge of PLC controlled machines with particular focus on gearboxes, pneumatics, agitators, hoppers, flat conveyors and screw conveyors
• Experience with a maintenance management system
• Willingness to work on weekends and be on call for break downs
