Mechanical Assemblers - Hydraulic Lift Machines - $35/hr

Job Connect are seeking non-trade Mechanical Assemblers for a respected heavy vehicle manufacturer located in the Pinkenba area. If you are looking to take your mechanical career up notch without needing to seek a trade – this is the perfect role for you!

 

Successful applicants will enjoy:

• Competitive pay rate starting at $35 per hour
• Earn time and a half at $52.50 per hour and double time at $70 per hour, with ample optional overtime opportunities
• Weekly tool allowance of $23.00
• Additional compensation for travel home for those working overtime
• Access to extensive on-the-job training and coaching
• Exceptional safety and extensive mechanical aids

Role will have:

• Guaranteed full-time hours of 38+ per week
• Monday to Friday day shift roles commencing at 6am
• Early midday finishes on Fridays
• Optional half-day shifts on Saturdays for OT

Ideal applicants will have experience in:

• Using Hand Tools e.g Spanners, Hex/Allen Keys and Socket sets
• Fitting electrical wiring & harnesses
• Sub Assembly and preparing parts
• Hydraulics / Pneumatics
• Mechanical fitting
• Pre-delivery inspection
